Hotel Indigo in Bath has undergone an extensive, multi million pound restoration project which involved combining two previous hotels, and neighbouring buildings, to create a stylish boutique hotel with 166 guest rooms. With interiors inspired by the local culture, character, and history of the surrounding area, Hotel Indigo reflects the romance, literature, and historic architecture for which Bath is famous.

Ochre House were appointed to develop upholstery and case goods designs for the communal spaces within the hotel. Combining a mix of materials, shapes, and striking fabrics, the pieces successfully bring together both contemporary and traditional elements to reflect the interiors seen throughout this elegant Georgian hotel. With a focus on detail, the designs showcase elements such as deep buttoning, sweeping curves, elegant scrolled arms, classical metalwork, and seamless combining of marble and brass.

Hotel Indigo continues to welcome guests during the pandemic for those who need to travel for work, where better to isolate yourself than in this spacious and stylish interior?
